Kuton and Sail no. 01! Kuton shows how a summerbreeze is sailed, relaxed and easy! Why can't I learn how to sail Greenpeas like he does?

IIRC I used to sail the spindrift like that.... in fact I remember beating a couple of toppers on my first RTV sailing like a gentleman sailor  :) :P ... come to think of it, I think the way I sail the spindrift now slows it down as I'm too far aft.

Tell me about it, as I said that is why I like going through sailing photos, to analyze stuff. Check out how Kuton's hull and check out how I sail mine:

People would think that I am sailing faster because my bow is out of the water, but really this is slow hull trim :(

Hmmm, that's right, just look at those two photos above. I can just imagine what music is in Kuton's head... probably Claire de Lune or maybe some kind of Waltz music. While in my head, maybe some kind of 80s music like Jon Bon Jovi or something. :)

But actually on this topic, I was really talking about hull trim. Kuton's hull trim looks spot on, while mine shows bow above water, which means probably sitting too far aft.

On my big boat there is such a thing, a heel angle indicator. :)
