Test of the Polyprop honeycomb boat, successfull

Postby solarudi » Mon Dec 19, 2016 11:51 am

Hi friends,

The test sailing with this kiddy sailing boat glued with PP plates was nice, moved good with a little wind and the thin truck plastic cover. THings to change, no more rolling pipe for the sail saves 2.6kg, the flooding test showed that the buoncy is not enough to keep it high enough over water to remove the water inside the boat in case of waves. I will glue velcro straps to keep inflatable chambers around. I have to find an good idea for easier entering the boat from outside. Due to the light weight is behaves like a swing

He,he, a man wanted to sail and asked "Where is the entrance step?"

Next is the building of the first 7m hull for my old Tornado replacement, using vacuum.

The PP plates from Polymer have now a bigger size with the same price, before 115x230cm, ow 4x8ft size..122x244cm
Test in Laiya,San Juan
